Our launch is limited to a first run of 1,500 pieces. Sign up now and I'll email you a week before it goes live

Not a blend. Not “mostly”. Every fibre, every trim, every tag. Zero synthetic microfibres shed in the wash.

Certified by third parties from farm to finished garment. No greenwashing - every claim is on a public register.

When you’re finished with it, we take it back and compost it. Nothing goes to landfill.

I played rugby for fifteen years. Some of it professionally, some of it for Scotland and Great Britain. Now I work in the sport in Hong Kong. Which is to say: I've worn a lot of kit, sweated in a lot of kit, and never once thought about what any of it was doing to me. Or to where the kit ended up after I stopped wearing it. Then I started thinking about it, and I couldn't stop. Why does every piece of training kit I own contain plastic, and why does none of it tell me what's actually in it?
So I did what anyone with a slightly annoying question does. I tried to solve it for myself. I went looking for training kit that was organic cotton where it could be, hemp where it made sense, and plastic-free the whole way through. Not "made with recycled materials". Not "conscious". Actually plastic-free. Third-party certified. Made honestly, by factories I could name and had spoken to.
It was harder to find than it should have been.
That's really where Stripped came from. Not from a business plan. From the suspicion that if I was asking these questions, other people probably were too. And that if I was going to make this stuff for myself anyway, I might as well make a bit more and see if anyone else wanted it.
The rules are simple:
This isn't for everyone. It costs more than fast fashion sportswear and it always will. But if you've ever pulled a training top over your head and wondered what you were actually pulling over your head - this is for you.

100% GOTS-certified organic cotton. Certified from the farm to the finished garment by an accredited third party. Every fibre traceable. No shortcuts. GOTS licence numbers on the product page at launch.

No PFAS. No phthalates. No BPA. No synthetic microfibres. No polyester, elastane, or recycled-plastic blend pretending to be sustainable. Independently tested. If our lab report doesn’t back a claim, we don’t make the claim.

When your tee is worn out, we take it back. Compost it. Confirm it back to the soil. Nothing to landfill. No fake recycling.
GOTS stands for the Global Organic Textile Standard, the world’s leading certification for organic fibres in textiles. It’s not just about the raw cotton - GOTS certifies the entire supply chain, from farm to finished garment. To carry the GOTS label, a product needs a minimum of 70% certified organic fibres, and every processor, manufacturer, and trader that touches it must be independently, annually audited by an accredited certification body.
OEKO-TEX Standard 100 is an independent lab certification that checks every component of a garment - fabric, thread, buttons, zippers, prints, linings - against a list of over 1,000 potentially harmful substances. It’s not a claim we make about ourselves; it’s a pass/fail test run by accredited third-party labs before a product can carry the label.
PFAS, BPA, and phthalates show up in sportswear more than most people realise - PFAS in “water-repellent” and “sweat-proof” coatings, BPA in polyester-spandex blends and elastic components, phthalates in flexible prints and trims. All three are linked to hormone disruption, and sweat and body heat during exercise actually increase how much of these chemicals your skin absorbs. That’s the opposite of what activewear should do.
At launch, our take-back programme is simple: when your gear finally reaches the end of its life, send it back to us instead of the bin. We’ll cover the return process and give you clear instructions on how to package and post it.
Once it’s back with us, every returned garment goes to industrial composting facilities, where it’s broken down under controlled heat, moisture, and microbial conditions - the only way our natural fibres can properly return to soil rather than sitting in landfill for decades. It’s a closed loop: no plastic, no waste, no garment left behind. As we grow, we’ll expand this programme with more drop-off options and full transparency on where every returned piece ends up.

I’m doing this for me - building Stripped alone in the evenings and weekends, alongside my full time job in Hong Kong. It’s a first run of 1,500 pieces, made carefully, and it will sell out. If you want in early, sign up below and I’ll email you a week before launch. - Jamie
